Balingup Tourism Association Inc
The Tourism Association began in November 1999 when a group of Balingup residents and tourism operators met with the aim of establishing a tourism association to promote Balingup and provide a local service for tourism operators and visitors. A steering committee was formed, and the group operated under the umbrella of the Balingup Progress Association until it became a constituted body in its own right some six months later. The Association, with the help of volunteers, runs the Visitor Centre situated in the main Street of Balingup on South Western Highway.
